United Arab Emirates – Baklava

Baklava is a pastry dish that is layered with the nuts filled in each layer or the center of each piece. This is more like a Filo pastry. Filo is a pastry of many thin layers. This dish is originated from Ottoman Empire. The word Baklava came from the Mongolian Language, also known as BAGLABA in the Persian language. Meaning of the word Baklava is ”TO TIE UP”, ”WRAP UP”.

Tunisia – Shakshuka

Shakshuka is a meal common in the Algeria, Moroco, Tunisia etc. It is a wonderful and simple cuisine. Made all from natural ingredients.

Nigeria – Ewa Aganyin

Nigeria is a country in Africa located on the western part of the continent bordering Niger in the north, Cameroon in the east, and Benin in the west. The southern part furthermore is bordering the Gulf of Guinea in the Atlantic Ocean.

Japan – Kakigori (Japanese Shaved Ice Dessert)

Kakigori is a dessert that is made up of Crushed and shaved ice with having flavors and sweet syrups. Japanese Shaved ice dessert is served with sweet syrups, some fruit chunks, condensed milk, evaporated milk. In summer, this dessert is sold every where in Japan like, dessert shops, tea café, tea stalls, ice cream stalls, etc. This dish is originated in Heian Period in which ice from the mountains bring and topped with flavors.

Pakistan – Special Butter Chicken Kadai

In these days chicken is a cultural dish. Now a day’s either there will be a festival, marriage ceremony get together of friend or any celebration Chicken is necessary to cook there. That’s why today I m going to prepare recipe of chicken that is Special Butter Kadai. Butter is good source of Vitamin A, a fat soluble vitamin needed for skin health, immune function, and healthy vision.

Japan – Makizushi Rolls

Makizushi is Japanese rolled sushi. This is formed by rolling a cylindrical roll of sushi then cut into a plain patty-like round shaped. This is rolled by using bamboo mats. There are many variations in which form the fish would be presented like mostly uncooked thin-sliced fish are embedded in it.

Pakistan – Mutton Champ Masala (Lamb Chops With Gravy)

The most famous and the most yummy lamb dish is mutton champ masala. In Urdu we call chops (champ) and gravy (masala). It is very famous on eid – ul – adha people love to eat this on eid dinner. This is also served on weddings.

Kenya – Fish Mseto

Among the people who prefer natural foods are those living in Kenya, Luo people. Kenya is a country found in eastern Africa bordering lake Victoria in the northern part.

The Philippines – Ube Halaya

Ube Halaya is a very tasty and extremely delicious dessert of Filipino cuisine. It is like a jam or a spread made by UBE also known as PURPLE YAM. Ube is cultivated in NEW GUINEA. It is the second-largest island in the Southern Hemisphere.

Cameroon – Grilled Fish and Parte

Cameroon has a very large body of water, around Limbe we have the sea that goes into the ocean. But fish is mostly harvested from the ocean by huge companies like Congelcam. Most people in my country will rather choose fish over meat because it is cheap and more available and it is also very nutritional. I like grill fish and I hope you do too.
