When we talk about keema rice (mince) we come to know that it is commonly found in India and Pakistan. The word keema is taken from the Turkish language meaning minced meat.

Singapore – Sambal Stingray

Sambal stingray is the “FOOD OF SEA” in which we used fish which is barbecued in which we use banana leaves which are grilled and cook with different ingredients. This dish is not only famous in Singapore but it is actually famous in Malaysia.

Cameroon – Ndole

Bitter leave is like any other green vegetable, but it is very bitter when not washed properly. Bitter leave has been said to be a medicinal plant back then. Our four-fathers used it to reduce high sugar level with patients suffering from diabetes. Bitter leave is said to grow both in the dry season and raining season. These are said to be the seasons in Cameroon.

Ofe Owerri is another cuisine with an interesting background. Ofe means soup while Owerri is a capital of Imo state in the country, this correspondingly form a meaning of Owerri soup.

Pakistan – National dish of Pakistan “Nihari”

As all PAKISTAN’s favourite dish is also a national dish of Pakistan, nihari. Nihari has its own traditional worth in late centuries originated at the era of MUGHALS.

Kofta is a Pakistani style meat balls which is served with gravy or traditional curry. Kofta is actually spiced mince that shaped into small balls.

Cameroon – Kwacoco Bible

Kwacoco Bible is grated cocoyam mixed with spinach, palm oil, spices, smoked fish, crayfish, wrapped in plantain leaves and steamed and is cooked by many families, reasons being that it is economical and it has an ancestral link, that is, it is being perpetuated right from our ancestors to our grandparents till present date. Kwacoco Bible is a delicacy commonly prepared in the south west region of Cameroon.

Singapore – Otak Otak

Otak Otak is actually known as the Spicy fish cake, the combination of BANANA LEAVES WITH FISH PASTE. It is a creamy custard of fish, it may look so weird to eat but this is actually one of the best dishes to eat in Singapore. This dish is firstly originated in “PALEMBANG” which is the city of INDONESIA. People serve it for the first time in banana leaves which is fully grilled and smells so good.

Angola – Farofa

Farofa is an Angolan cuisine of rice and beans with manioc flour on top to resemble Brazilian cuisine of the same name, while the only difference is the ingredients, some of the preparation methods varies.
