Kebab is made from small chunks of meat thread on the skewers and grill over charcoal. The flavor and texture of it is very appetizing. Kebab dishes are very aromatic.

Kuwait – Traditional Machboos (Spicy Rice With Chicken and Red Sauce)

Machboos is the national dish of Kuwait. The rice specialty with tender and juicy meat with delicious red sauce is amazing. Whenever visitors visit Kuwait they always try Machboos because of rice and who does not love rice. The interesting thing about the dish is the rice is soaked in rose water and saffron. The other rice dishes which are made in rice do not add rose water to the rice. This is the only dish that includes rose water.

The Philippines – Ube Halaya

Ube Halaya is a very tasty and extremely delicious dessert of Filipino cuisine. It is like a jam or a spread made by UBE also known as PURPLE YAM. Ube is cultivated in NEW GUINEA. It is the second-largest island in the Southern Hemisphere.

Tanzania – Senene (Senator)

Senene are small insects found mostly in northern part of Tanzania, in Kagera, Mara and Mwanza regions. They are also found in neighborhood countries which are Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda.

Cameroon – Corn Cake (Tenue Millitaire or Macabo Leaf Corn Cake)

Corn cake or tenue millitaire/macabo leaf corn cake is a kind of ‘’cake’’ which is gotten from corn paste either fresh or corn flour and vegetables like soft fresh macabo leaves mixed together and cooked. This dish is a typical delicacy of the people of Bayangam in the west region of Cameroon.

Indonesia – Ketupat

Ketupat is a very unique dish and looked so different due to its packing and serving. It is a dish of rice that is packed in palm leaves and made like a pouch. This dish is originated in INDONESIA. Some of the people thought that this dish is originated in BRUNEI, MALAYSIA, SINGAPORE, and THAILAND. There are also many variations around the world.

Pakistan, India – Palak Gosht (Spinach)

Palak Gosht is the most common and favorite cuisine of people of Pakistan, India, and other Asian countries. Palak is a seasonal dish, it is mostly eaten in the winter season. In the past when spinach was first originated from Persia (Iran) it was called as aspanakh over there.

Chicken paye is one of the most eaten dishes in Pakistan. This is cooked in many countries like Pakistan, India, Bangladesh. This is not available in high-class restaurants but this available in small restaurants like Dhaba. There is a very famous market in Pakistan called ”namak mandi”. You can serve this at parties as a starter or as a snack.

Vietnam – Banh Xeo

Eating crepes in a break is so relaxing. Crepes also become a traditional culinary in Asia. In Vietnam, there is a dish that uses a crispy-thin pancake as an ingredient called Banh Xeo.

Rice is a very common meal. Common and delicious. The meal is simple also. Very simple and affordable. In my country Cameroon, when an orphanage is to be visited, rice is carried along.
