Japan – Melonpan

Sweet bun soft inside covered with crispy-crunchy cookie dough is the best thing for a snack as a biscuit, like a cookie, as a bun. This is known as melonpan because of having the same shape like melon. This is more like a bun in texture but having many flavors to be added on to give exotic flavors and new tastes. There are various types of the melonpan bun with different fillings and stuffing added.

This is a very unique dish of Japanese cuisine in which we can mix rice with prepared green tea and pour over the rice. Name of the dish which is used in Japanese cuisine is ”CHAZUKE”. From this word ”CHA” means ”TEA” and ”ZUKE” means ”SUBMERGE”.

Curry puff is the most wanted snack that they serve with tea in SINGAPORE and in MALAYSIA as well. This dish is also famous in Indonesia but with a different name. The compulsory ingredients are potatoes, onions, meat and eggs. Karipap pusing is another name of curry puff which is called in MALAYSIA and in SINGAPORE.

This dish is originated from Ottoman Empire. The word Baklava came from the Mongolian Language, also known as BAGLABA in the Persian language. Meaning of the word Baklava is ”TO TIE UP”, ”WRAP UP”.

Korea – Beef Bulgogi

Bulgogi is a Korean grilled beef dish. It is marinated beef that is cooked by grilling and barbecue. The smoky flavored beef is very delicious and tasty. Bulgogi is a dish that originated from the Guguryo Era. Dongguksesi is a Korean history book in which the name BULGOGI was recorded. This dish is from the GUI part of Korean cuisine

Pakistan, India – Gajjar Ka Halwa (Carrots Dessert)

Halwa finds its roots in the Arabic language and it is a very dense desserts. Originally halwa was either flour based or used various nuts with sugar, milk and butter to create a sweet nutty dessert.
