Nigeria – Aagun

Yoruba people from Nigeria have a lot of cuisines to taste, their cuisines are even in form of cereal mix, meat mix, vegetables mix or both mixes at a time. Aagun will work better for vegetarians as it is sourced from cornmeal.

Nigeria – Okpa

Rare cuisines prepared mostly in Africa. Okpa is rare dish. You will mostly see this dish in Nigeria or if prepare elsewhere, you may find out and see the chef or person that prepared the dish is from Nigeria. This doesn’t mean that you can’t prepare the dish. That is why am writing about it.

Nigeria – Ofada Rice

Ofada Rice is mostly consumed by Yoruba people from Nigeria, it is also called brown rice and is mostly known with the name in other worldly areas. Oyo tribe also prefer to prepare this cuisine because it is rich in food minerals than white rice.

Nigeria – Yummy Chicken Vegetable Ugba

In most the restaurant you have eating, some of the meals are not even on google or have been prepared by you. In my country, Ugba is bitter-leaf and this leave is being used to prepare so many soups of different kind.

Nigeria – Meatzza

They say; “those who often cook, hardly have the appetite to enjoy their own food”. Lol. Never has there been a day, when I cook and don’t have the appetite to eat. This is because most at times when I get into the kitchen to prepare a particular meal, my mind must be made up already which even causes the secretion of saliva at times.

Nigeria, Cameroon – Ogbono Soup

Ogbono soup is a draw soup. It is often called swallow. This soup is a very delicious soup and it is valued in Cameroon and Nigeria. This is the meal where most people who consume it, lick their five fingers.

Nigeria – Owoh Soup

Those interested in opening restaurants, I will tell you here and out of experience, apart from the white man’s decision on whether not to consume African meals, the meals are delicious and costly in areas of scarcity. Today, I will write about a delicious Nigerian delicacy that is worth practicing and adopting as a main dish in your home. The dish is called Owoh.

Ikokore (Water yam portage) originated from Ogun state, Nigeria and is a major dish for the Ijebu natives.

Nigeria – Ayamase (Ofada Stew)

Nigeria is a country located on the western coast of Africa. In Nigeria there are kinds of tribes including Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa. Ayamase is popular chill sauces in the Igbo and Yoruba cultures of Nigeria.

Nigeria – Marugbo Soup

Marugbo Etawa soup is that which is eating by the Ondo people of the western part of Nigeria. This is soup traditional prepared with a combination of two leaves which are dried Marugbo leaf and dried Efirin leaf.
