Nigeria – Agidi Jollof

This sound like rice, but It is not. This is another Nigerian delicacy valued and prepared by the Nigerians. This meal is spectacular in nature because, it takes the combination of several ingredients you could hardly think of to come up with it.

Nigeria – Gbegiri Soup

In Africa, there are so many tribes and cultures practiced by millions of people in different areas of Africa. In Africa, we don’t joke with traditional meals. Most of which I have already writing on.

Nigeria – Ofe Owerri

Ofe Owerri is another cuisine with an interesting background. Ofe means soup while Owerri is a capital of Imo state in the country, this correspondingly form a meaning of Owerri soup.

Nigeria – Edikang Ikong Soup

Cameroon is a neighbouring country to Nigeria. This is a Nigerian meal, but due to the friendship Cameroon has with Nigeria, most of the dishes prepared in Nigeria are prepared in Cameroon and vis.

Nigeria – Aagun

Yoruba people from Nigeria have a lot of cuisines to taste, their cuisines are even in form of cereal mix, meat mix, vegetables mix or both mixes at a time. Aagun will work better for vegetarians as it is sourced from cornmeal.

Nigeria – Stew Sauce

The question about cuisines and their origin has been a thought that I have been thinking of. The are many cuisines around the world coming from different tribes and regions. The question I use to ask myself is, how where the cuisines formed.

Nigeria – Okpa

Rare cuisines prepared mostly in Africa. Okpa is rare dish. You will mostly see this dish in Nigeria or if prepare elsewhere, you may find out and see the chef or person that prepared the dish is from Nigeria. This doesn’t mean that you can’t prepare the dish. That is why am writing about it.

Nigeria – Worowo Vegetable

There is a soup called Worowo vegetable soup. It is made from leaves. This leaf until you have them and harvest, you can’t prepare worowo soup. This is a Nigeria cuisine and particular from the people of Ekiti state. What accompanies worowo soup is pounded yams.

Nigeria – Cauliflower Fried Rice

Rice as the often say in Africa, is a meal for all. Cualiflower fried rice is common to the Nigerians. It is delicious and could be prepared and eating anywhere and everywhere.

Nigeria – Ikokore (Yam Portage)

Ikokore (Water yam portage) originated from Ogun state, Nigeria and is a major dish for the Ijebu natives.
