Italy – Panzanella (Bread and Tomato Salad)

Panzanella is considered to be a very important dish as it is about 500 years old. The original idea was to give people something they can easily afford for the whole week with minimum ingredients. Panzanella is an Italian word and consists of two meanings separately. This dish is considered to be originated in Tuscany Italy.

Italy – Gelato

If you ask an Italian what his/her favorite dessert is they will all say one name only “Gelato”. Gelato is a frozen dessert which is made with the combination of milk, cream and sugar. In Italy it can be easily found everywhere. It is a great family dessert and a great way to finish of the dining. Gelato is an Italian word which literally means “frozen” just like its texture and its flavor. It may look like an normal ice cream but it is not. Gelato originated in Sicily in the 16th century. The first gelato was made by Bernardo Buontalenti who was a native of Florence. Gelato is considered a prize in all of Italy and it is loved to the core.

Turkey – Pide

Pide is the most famous and local cuisine of Turkey. This is a flatbread kind of dish which has the shape same as the shape of a boat, and it is baked in an oven. Pide was first made in the decade of 1850s.

Europe, United States of America (USA) – Hot Buffalo Chicken Wings

Buffalo Chicken wings are one of the famous and delicious cuisines of the European region. Marinate and coating are the most important phase of Buffalo chicken wings. In the history food book of food historians, that’s the Buffalo Chicken wings firstly prepared at a restaurant present in Buffalo, New York.

Cameroon, Balkans – Moussaka

This is another simple cuisine but may be complicated for some people who have never tried preparing it. The cuisine I am about to write about below is Moussaka. This is a dish common to the Greek people or rather the Balkans of the east region. I prepared this dish here in Cameroon and I know how delicious it is.

The word sarma is derived from the Turkish word sarmak, which means to wrap, wrap or dolma, doldurmak – to fill.

France, Spain – Delightful Dessert Cream Caramel/ flan

Caramel cream is the national dessert of Spain, Italy, Portugal, and France. Caramelized custard is one of the forms of sweet dessert. Caramel dessert consists of a layer of caramel sauce and caramel cream which helps it to be sweet and bitter. Caramel dessert is originated from Spain and France. However, this origin is not exact and it is unclear and unknown who the inventor of the caramel cream is.

Italy – Bistecca Alla Fiorentina

Bistecca Alla Fiorentina is a special Tuscan T- bone steak whose meat is gathered from a special breed of cow known as Chianina cow. The beauty of this steak is its appearance as it attracts people towards it. It is more like a celebratory dish as it has a quite bit of history behind it. The first Bistecca steak was made in the year 1565 during the celebrations in the honor of San Lorenzo at the time of the Medici. Fiorentina steak is one of the best steaks in the world in terms of flavor and also the outcome after cooking it.

United States of America – Sweet and delicious French Toast

French toast is a type of breakfast recipe. Here the word toast means that properly cook of bread slice from pan or toaster from both sides. There are different claims about the origin of French Toasts but the main source of information is that French Toast comes from Roman Empire. Basically, French Toast is called “Pain Perdu” in French, which means lost bread, while in some Roman languages it is called Pan Dulcis. It becomes popular day by day from the earlier 15th century.

America, US – American-Style Sweet Plain Pancake

Pancakes are a special type of sweet dish and it is very famous and popular in American Cuisines. The pancake word comes from the Greek word pan which means plain surface. This dish is originated from the ancient Rome Empire. It was traditionally famous and popular in America and become part of their cuisines.
