Cameroon – Boiled Tubers With Bitter Leaves

Boiled tubers is a form of tubers that is hard in form and very sweat in the mouth despite the hardness that it is made up of. Boiled tubers with bitter leaves is a local cuisine being prepared in the village of Mamfe by the elder ones and the younger ones for the elder ones and also for themselves.

Nigeria – Worowo Vegetable

There is a soup called Worowo vegetable soup. It is made from leaves. This leaf until you have them and harvest, you can’t prepare worowo soup. This is a Nigeria cuisine and particular from the people of Ekiti state. What accompanies worowo soup is pounded yams.

What is particular about this meal is the way the fufu is being preserved. The fufu is being preserved in the most natural manner possible. This is a tradition upheld by the people of Bangola. Wrap maize lili fufu with tomato sauce is a meal seeing its origin from Bangola village in the Ndop locality.

Pilau is a typical local dish from the Kenyan coast. The dish had its origin from there since the coastal people are known to have high appetite of spicy food.

Cameroon – Kokono Soup With Plantains

Kokono soup with plantains has a special entity in that it talks about the history of the Kokono people which is a village. The cooking of this meal is like a form of initiation the new born adults in the culture of the Kokono. Kokono soup with plantains tradition comes from the Akonolinga inhabitants in Cameroon.
