Cameroon – Mboh
by Verdzekov Bernard
Mboh is food made from groundnut paste. It is a very simple meal. it is a pudding like Egusi pudding, but the difference between this two is that, one is made from Egusi and the other is made from groundnut. All are nutritional and valued in Cameroon. Most at times if you happen to see this in an African restaurant, they are costly because they are rare. People hardly prepare this and serve in restaurants; you will mostly see this in local areas or along the high way. They sell this along the highway because they know there are a lot of travelers that love Mboh or pudding but don’t have the time to prepare it. They know it is delicious and will be valued when seen. They know it is a good travelling meal. Mboh is delicious and unlike like Egusi pudding, the cooking procedure are the same.

Put at the base of your pot some plantain leaves and warm water. Place your Mboh in the pot in an organized manner. Close pot air tide and steam.
