Italy – Risotto

Risotto is an Italian classis dish which is basically rice cooked in broth until it reaches a creamy state. Risotto with all its simple and less ingredients looks like a piece of cake but in reality it is one of the most difficult dishes to get right. Many people have tried to get it right the first time but only a few have succeeded. That is why it is named “DEATH DISH”. I highly recommend it to everyone who visits Italy, try it there where it was created because that original taste cannot be replicated anywhere else.

Italy – Panna Cotta

Panna Cotta is a dessert made by boiling heavy cream and adding stuff like sugar, vanilla extract and gelatin. The best thing about this dessert is that it can be made with any flavor so there are thousands of its variations and another good factor about it is that it goes well with everything. Panna Cotta is an Italian word which when translated into English means “Cooked Cream”. Panna Cotta is said to be originated in the region of Piedmont which is near the border of France. It is said that there has been no signs of Panna cotta before 1960’s and, it was after the 2000’s in 2001 it was listed in the traditional foods of its region. There are many similar dishes like Panna Cotta.

The United Kingdom, Italy – Pizza Without Oven

Pizza has become the most local cuisine here in the USA and UK and other European countries. The word pizza was first introduced in 997 A.D in central Italy and Gaeta. The most important thing in this dish is that I’ve made it without using any oven.

Italy – Insalata Caprese (Caprese Salad)

Caprese salad is the Italian word for Insalata Caprese. When translated Insalata Caprese means “Salad Of Capri”. Capri is an island located near the city of Naples. The ingredients in the dish are of the same color as the National flag of Italy: green, white and red. Therefore this dish represents the whole Italy. This salad was first noticed in the year 1920 and then was introduced in the menu of a hotel named Quisisana. There are many variations of Caprese salad all over the world.

Italy – Tiramisu

Tiramisu is said to be the best dessert in all of Italy because of its beautiful textures and remarkable taste which sets the tone for the people. It is easy to make at home and more easy to enjoy afterwards. This dish is said to be made first in 1960 in the region of Veneto, a region in the North of Italy and has many cities inside it. Tiramisu is an Italian word which means “pick me up” or “cheer me up”. It is served at the end of the meal and is a way of cheering people up through its taste.

Italy – Carbonara

The best pasta dish ever made in Italy is Carbonara. It is a pasta dish which is made by adding finely cooked pieces of Guanciale together with a creamy sauce of egg yolks and then finished off by adding cooked pasta. The name Carbonara is not old it is relatively more newer than the dish itself. It is derived from the word carbonaro which means “coal burner”. There are many variations of the dish.

Italy – Lasagne Bolognese With Bechamel Sauce

Lasagna is one of Italy’s finest cuisines ever made. It has a place in the heart of the Italian cuisine. Lasagna was first made in the city of Naples where this dish became popular in no time. The word Lasagna was embraced from the Greek dish “Lasanum” which meant “cooking pot” because it was made in it. As my opinion goes I will always recommend everyone to try it because it is also one of my favorite foods to eat. It may not be the healthiest but it is tasty.

Macaroni with creamy cheese is another formula of the dish which is just delightful and outstanding in taste. Here it is the popular and famous dish of ITALY. The place of origin of Ranch Creamy and Cheesy Macaroni is Italy. It is originated in Southern Italy in the 13th century.

Bruschetta is basically a starter dish which in Italy is called antipasto. It consists of grilled bread on which tomatoes are added along with some basil. The researchers claim its origin is either from Lazio or Tuscany. These both are cities in Italy. This dish is also reported to have been made first during the Ancient Rome.
