Japan – Yusheng

This is a very famous Japanese salad, made up of raw fish mixed with vegetables, and add seasonings and sauces to make it delicious. This dish has also a vegetarian version and the name is known as SOY FISH. This dish is said to be from Cantonese cuisine, after the invention this became part of Chinese cuisine and now Japanese cuisine.

Japan – Kabocha and Ayu Tempura With Tentsuyu Sauce

Tempura is a fried dish in which any seafood and vegetables are dipped into the batter of eggs and flour to deep fry it. This dish has many roots from the world while having the name, origin, and cooking techniques. In 1671, the cookbook called “料理献立抄” was written and it has the recipe still used in making the tempura. Tokyo bay was made a great change in Japanese cuisine and still we have the dishes of “Tokyo style (Edo style)”. There are many variations of the dish outside Japan.

Japan – Japanese Chicken Curry

Japanese curry is very popular in Japanese because it is a very versatile dish that can be served with different other dishes and served in many forms. Curry in Japan is served in three different ways: Curry Bread, Curry Noodles and Kare Raisu. This dish was first time introduced in Japan at the MEJI ERA from the 1860s to 1900. Nakamuraya curry is a similar curry cooked in the Indian Subcontinent like in Japan. There are many dishes and elements to serve with curry.

The Philippines – Beef Sinigang

Sinigang is the stew or soup dish in which different pieces of meat with vegetables and seasonings are added.This meal is served at different times of the day like breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even as the starter or appetizer.Sinigang is originated from the TAGALOG. They were the second-largest Ethnolinguistic group of people in the Philippines. There are several varieties of this dish.

Japan – Zosui / Ojiya

This dish is actually a soup which is made up of rice, vegetables, and meat. It is also known as ”Japanese Rice Soup”. This soup is originated from the concept that rice can be added to miso soup for a more tasty and healthy effect. There are few varieties of zosui by different ingredients to put on and different cooking time.

Japan – Khushikatsu

This dish has huge elements to go through the name but it is simply said that this dish is deep-fried, skewered, cutlets of meat and vegetables. The name ”Khushi” means ”Skewers”. And ”Katsu” means ”Cutlets” which is definitely deep-fried. In Tokyo, this dish is famous for pork meat, while food on skewers is originated from Osaka.
