Snail is good meat in Cameroon. Oh yes. Very nice meat. So-many stories have been said about snails. The snail is said to be the slowest living thing God created to exist on earth.
Obe Ishapa is a Nigerian cuisine eating by those of western Nigeria. The cuisine is not so common but it eating so well by those who know of it and who can prepare it.
In the western world, cakes are commonly eating as meals. A slice of cake with fruit juice makes the belly heavy and satisfied. Cake is food which is sweet because, one of the ingredients used in making cake is sugar.
Those interested in opening restaurants, I will tell you here and out of experience, apart from the white man’s decision on whether not to consume African meals, the meals are delicious and costly in areas of scarcity. Today, I will write about a delicious Nigerian delicacy that is worth practicing and adopting as a main dish in your home. The dish is called Owoh.
This is meal common to the people of the eastern part of Nigeria. Nigeria is a very big state. In that state they are a lot of tribes like the Igbo’s, Yoruba, Hausa etc. This tribes have their meals the prepare that is common to them.
Rice is a very common meal. Common and delicious. The meal is simple also. Very simple and affordable. In my country Cameroon, when an orphanage is to be visited, rice is carried along.
They say, Ofe Achara is the most traditional way of preparing Egusi soup in Nigeria. This has a traditional name called Mgbam. This means molded Egusi. And it is said, the Egusi is not just any type of molded Egusi.
In one of my articles, I wrote about Coconut rice. Today is about curry coconut chicken sauce. This meal doesn’t belong to a particular tribe or people.
The traditional dish you are about to know today is Palava sauce. This sauce is prepared with spinach and okra. But at times okra could be missing but not spinach.
