Singapore – Lauk Singgang Fish

Lauk singgang is an appetizing dish that is actually a liquid dish. We can compare it with soup, Like fish soup. We all know that soups are appetizers so this ” Lauk Sinnggang “ is also an appetizer dish. This is the ideal dish we can make at home easily. We can also drink this as a soup or can combine it with boiled rice and eat this as dinner because the taste of ” Lauk singgang” is sweet and sour. Its taste is very unique and delicious. You can take any ingredients that you like so it is full of ingredients and nutrients as well.
You can add many ingredients according to your taste but some of them are compulsory so you have to put this in the dish
- Fish
- Shrimps
- Vinegar/Lemon
We can find the stock of fish by boiling them in the water, many people boiled them in the milk so it was not good enough according to me because it totally changes the taste of the soup if you want you can try this but first you have to try the real one. This is the Asian-style soup because Asians also find them as their favorite soup.
Soup is the best appetizer and due to fish it is full of nutrients. This soup helps you to prevent coldness and increase you immunity.

This soup is very beneficial for human health especially in winters because it helps to protect you from cold and increase your immunity to fight against diseases. This soup is full of nutrients because of the fish. Fish is the only thing that doctors recommend for better immunity. Most people said that fish is not for Summer but it is not true. You can eat fish in any type of season it is up to you, it does not affect your health but also increase your immunity.

This “LAUK SINGGANG FISH” is one of the national cuisines of Singapore. There are many cuisine list of Singapore national dishes but this have another level of popularity.
INGREDIENTS
- coriander
- Garlic
- Green chilli
- Salt
- Red chilli
- Ginger
- shrimps
- oil
- fresh coriander leaves
- fish
- red chili powder
- turmeric
- vinegar
- black pepper
METHOD
- This dish contains few steps
- Take a pan and add oil to it over medium heat.
- Add chopped onions to it.
- Now fry them until their color changes to light brown.
- Add garlic and ginger paste to it.
- Now add spices to it like red chili powder etc.
- Now, on the other hand, take fish pieces.
- boiled them in the water with 2 tablespoons of salt.
- add fish and the masala soup to the bowl and garnish it.
