Pakistan – Falooda (Traditional Frozen Dessert )

INTRODUCTION
Falooda is a dessert or you can say a thick creamy frozen dessert in which alot things are used like ice cream, jelly, nuts, cream and than they assemble together in the layered form to make it more attractive and the taste is that you cannot resist to it especially in summers. It cools down the body and make the taste bud admire the spoon of falooda and make it more valuable, while taking the bite you feel satisfaction and happiness in the high temperature during summer let it cool down your body and relax your mind
FALOODA IN PAKISTAN
Kasur, is a city of Pakistan which is famous for this dessert falooda. They served this amazing traditional dessert the clay pot in which all the things like ice cream, cream, thick falooda mixture is assembled.
PLACE OF ORIGIN
It is believed that falooda is originated from the Royal kitchen, an era of Mughal empire when the Mughal king, Akbar used to make this dish on regular basis to enjoy the feast and it is said that the dessert was freeze by the ice taken from the mountains. The Indian subcontinent is the place of origin of the dessert falooda.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 liter milk
- 1 cup cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tbsp black chia seeds ( soaked before )
- 1 cup kulfa ice cream
- 1 cup khoya
- 4 tbsp almonda
- 4 tbsp rose syrup
- 1 cup boiled vermicelli
- 4 tbsp nuts
- 1 cup strawberry jelly
- 1 cup mixed fruits cocktail
METHOD OF COOKING
- Take a cooking pot and add milk into it and give it boil, add sugar, khoya and cream into the milk and let it cook for half hour until half of the milk evaporates and thickened and density the milk.
- Now take a beautiful bowl or glass in which you have to serve the dish.
- Add a spoon full of soaked chia seeds on the bottom than add this milky creamy mixture now add some fruits and nuts the cover it with vermicelli boiled than add cold milk on the top with strawberry jelly and at the end add a scoop of ice cream on the top of the glass and serve
