Pakistan, India – Butter Chicken Tikka

Introduction
It is a chicken dish originating in the Asian countries like Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. The dish is very popular among the people of India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. The word tikka is a Hindi and Urdu word and which means “bits” or “pieces”. It is also a chicken dish served in Punjabi cuisine. Many people like this dish because of it’s delicious taste and good smell.
Ingredients
Ingredients for marination
- 1/2 kg boneless chicken
- 2 tbs melted butter
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 2 tbs tomato ketchup
- 1 tbs cashew paste
- 1 tsp dried fenugreek
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 2 tbs cream
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tbs ginger garlic paste
- salt to taste
Ingredients for sauce
- 1 tbs butter
- 1 cup leftover marination
- 1 tbs chili garlic sauce
- 1/2 tbs Tabasco sauce
Steps to make
- Take a bowl and add chicken cubes, tomato ketchup, butter, cashew paste, yogurt, fenugreek, cream, red chili powder, garam masala, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, cumin powder and salt in it.
- Mix them gently.
- Now marinate it for 1-2 hours
- Take wooden skewers and thread chicken cubes on them.
- Then Grease a grill pan
- Place wooden skewers on top and cook chicken skewers each side for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Take a pan melt butter, add chili sauce, tobacco, leftover marination and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Now your sauce is ready
- Drizzle on prepared skewer and serve.
