West Africa – FuFu

FuFu is a very unique dough that is made with cassava. This dish is made in different countries by adding different ingredients according to the countries like Cuban, Ghananian, Liberia, etc. Fufu is eaten with fingers and small balls dipped in soup or added to the sauce. In the African tradition, Fufu acts as a family in the form of a big toe.

Cameroon – Sauté Cabbage and Ripe Plantains

Cabbage is very common in Cameroon and due to this fact, it is being prepared in so many different ways and styles. Sauté cabbage is fried cabbage which is prepared in a modern way and is either eaten with ripe plantains or unripe plantains. Santa in the North West region of Cameroon produces the highest quantity of cabbage in Cameroon.

Banku is the traditional cuisine of GHANA. This dish is made with CORN and CASSAVA dough. This dish is famous all around GHANA but especially in the southern region of Ghana which includes EWE PEOPLE, FANTE PEOPLE, GA ADANGBE PEOPLE. Banku is originated from the two countries GHANA and TOGO.
